Ellie has spoken in the media and the press and is available to talk (and write) about the issues faced by older mothers, and the challenges, fears, adventures and joys of pregnancy, motherhood and breast feeding. She is a guest writer for a number of blogs (UK and US) and also writes for the Cambridge News, Mothering in the Middle and What to Expect.

In April 2013 Mush Brained Ramblings was nominated and shortlisted in the Inspire category for a Brilliance in Blogging award (organised by BritMums)

In terms of broadcast media Ellie (and Hope) have been interviewed on being an older mother and the journey through IVF to pregnancy and birth, on what is too old to be first time mother, on breastfeeding and on other issues facing first time older mothers on:

We were invited to take part in Channel 4’s wonderful evening programme 4 Thought TV on the subject of God-parents but due to being out of the country we were unable to take part in the programme.

In February 2013 we were invited to be a part of BBC Breakfast (TV – BBC 1) to discuss the NICE raising of guidelines on the age limit for NHS IVF being lifted from 39 to 42
