Phew! 51 days old and 21mm

Went to the hospital …. sat and pondered and then met Sharon the sonographer and midwife …

this time not a horrid internal scan but a normal ultrasound on the tummy …

we saw The Spaniard … little heart pounding away and everything exactly perfect as it should be … 20.9mm / 21mm which equates to 8 weeks 6 days … it should be 9 weeks 2 days but has obviously been a little on the small side since the start but has caught up on itself a tiny amount which is good.

The midwife was happy and the nurse / doctor lady was happy … she said the horrible pain may just be the way my pregnancy is going to pan out but to keep an eye on it and continue to “relax” as much as I can.

So … we saw the head and bottom and she said The Spaniard was wriggling … quite incredible.

Now off for a walk on a very hot blue sky day … and here is the latest photo … head on the left side of the picture and little bottom on the right so back to us. Hello Spaniard … Hola x
